ColorZone® Tapes Explained The ColorZone® tape system makes the use of the TruZone® PFM and asthma management easy. These zones are based on a simple traffic light system. The health care provider typically explains to the patient the proper placement and use of the unique ColorZone® tape system. ColorZone® crack-and-peel tapes are enclosed with each TruZone® PFM and will help to define individual patient's Peak Expiratory Flow ("PEF") zones. The health care professional may help the patient to determine the proper placement of the tape on the Peak Flow Meter. The ColorZone® tape assists the patient with the ongoing monitoring of their asthma. (see below - how to use)
The PEF may vary as the respiratory condition changes. PEF may also change as children grow. For these reasons, several ColorZone® tapes are included with this packet. Used ColorZone® tapes must be removed before a new one is applied and the health care provider should be consulted before making any changes. How to use -
