Just a short note to thank you for showing me the AeroEclipse Nebulizer. It has been a great asset. Since I started using the BAN for Pulmonary Function Testing at Clark & Daughtery, my testing time has been cut from 45 minutes to 25-30 minutes. I have not noticed any change from responsiveness of the medication and subjectively all of the patients I am testing like this nebulizer. Additionally, I have sent patients home with this nebulizer and they are telling me that their treatments are shorter and they are getting more benefit from each treatment. I am definitely on the cutting edge of Respiratory Therapy. Lakeland, FL Just wanted to write to let
you know how things have gone in regard to my facility's switching over to
the AeroEclipse BAN. Well, we started using them back in January '05, so we
have about six months experience with them now. You offered classes to my
staff prior to switching from the more traditional nebs where you also
answered all their questions. But as with any "change" there was resistance,
doubt, grumbling, etc.... Plant City, FL
“Hello, I’m a Respiratory Therapist and also a severe persistent
asthmatic. During a recent hospitalization at UCSF, they gave me the
AeroEclipse Nebulizer to use for my treatments. I just wanted to say
that... I love this new nebulizer!! I’ve been an RT for 30 years and an
asthmatic since birth. The AeroEclipse is by far, the best nebulizer I have
ever used ( on myself) In fact, I even plugged it on my blog www.baycitywalker.com.” “Soon after your in-service on the AeroEclipse, I was assigned to the Emergency Department. Around noon that day, we got one of the worst non-intubated, asthmatics I’ve seen in a long time. She was sitting, hunched over, drooling with non-existent breath sounds and a rapidly dropping respiratory rate. The paramedics had an Albuterol treatment running on one of their nebulizers. As per our protocol, I started three back-to-back Albuterol/Atrovent nebulizer treatments. I grabbed one of the sample AeroEclipse Nebs and put it on her via an aerosol mask. As this was running, as you might imagine, I was grabbing the intubation box. By the third treatment, she was sitting up, her oxygen saturation was unreadable at the beginning of these treatments, but by now had risen to 90%. At this point, she had sat up, was looking around and her respiratory rate had stabilized. The nurse had begun to start an IV, but when he stuck her, she came alive, grabbed the tubing and told us that she didn’t want that! This patient improved from needing intubation and possibly CPR to a patient who only needed periodic treatments and monitoring and I attribute her improvement to the amazing performance of the AeroEclipse.” Houston, Texas "I was so excited to use your product, the 'Monaghan AeroEclipse, Breath Actuated Nebulizer'. I found it dried my secretions up rapidly, didn't waste my medication and the best feature was that it only took 6 breaths to finish. I have been asthmatic since birth and this will help reduce my time during nebulizer treatments so that I can get back to the 'normal' things in life. It also opened my airway better and (is) actually easier to use." Winter Park, Florida, USA "I went to the emergency room yesterday for
an asthma attack. I was given |
