Marple - Miller Impactor

Model 150 and 160 Marple - Miller Impactor™
These cascade impactors are used for testing aerosol drug delivery devices such as the metered dose inhaler (MDI) and the dry power inhaler (DPI) to determine the aerosol size distribution. They have sharp cut-point characteristics, low internal particle holdup, and are easy to operate. The impactor cut-point diameters are 10, 5.0, 2.5, 1.25, and 0.0625 µm at the standard flow rate of 30 L/min for the Model 150 and 60 L/min for the Model 160. Each model can also be operated over a range of flows: 30 - 60 L/min for the Model 150 and 60 - 90 L/min for the Model 160. A pediatric version is also available. The Model 150P operates at the standard flow rate of 12.5 L/min, but can be operated at a reduced flow of 4.9 L/min.
